Pharao has been delivered in july 2014 to the European Space Agency (ESA) to be integrated to the ACES (Atomic Clock Ensemble in Space) payload, to be sent to the International Space Station in 2016. This highly accurate atom clock, designed not to lose a single second within 300 million years, will allow to test Einstein’s General Relativity up to unprecedented levels.
