COMPLEMENTARY INFORMATIONS

Observations in the Arago dome

Observations will be organized for the participants in the Journées 2004 at the top of Paris Observatory historical building (Batiment Perrault) with the Arago refractor telescope (9 meters focal length, 38 cm. diameter) (See: Access and Map: "La coupole Arago".

These observations will take place each evening at 21 h 30 during the Journées 2004 (i.e. Monday 20 September, Tuesday 21 September, Wednesday 22 September).

Access is limited to 10 people-group and two groups per evening (one group between 21h 30 and 23h 00, the other one between 23h 00 and 24h 00).

Note that observations will occur even in case of bad weather (view of Eiffel Tower!).

This is free of charge.

"Ballade in Bateau Mouche"

This means to visit Paris on a boat ("Bateau-Mouche") (1h 15 min duration) starting from Alma Bridge along the Seine from Tour Eiffel to Pont Sully. Very nice !!

On Wednesday 22 September around 17h 00.

Inscription is 8 euros (possibility of reduction for groups).
