Sub-group T5 "Computational Consequences"

of the IAU Working Group

On the International Celestial Reference System "ICRS"

The Journées 1998 "Systèmes de réféerence spatio-temporels", with the sub-title "Conceptual,conventional and pratical studies related to Earth rotation", will be held in Paris, fro 21 to 23 September 1998, at Paris Observatory. The session II) of these Journees will be a "special session" (convener : V. Dehant), devoted to an open meeting of the IAU/IUGG Working Group "Non-rigid Earth". The Session III) will also be a "special session", untitled Concept, definition and observations of the Celestial Ephemeris Pole (conveners : N. Capitaine and A. Brzezinski). The sub-goup T5 being concerned in the dicussion about the algorithms for precession-nutation referred to the ICRS and about the definition of the CEP, it will therefore be very much concerned with this session.
